TELCOR OIS® User Group Meeting Enjoys Another Great Year
Lincoln, Nebraska – September 24, 2010 – TELCOR welcomed more than 30 users at the 3rd Annual Outreach Information System® (OIS) User Group meeting. The meeting was held at the TELCOR office in Lincoln, Nebraska, on September 19-21, 2010.
This year’s meeting included multiple sessions that allowed users to provide direction for the future of the laboratory billing solutions offered by TELCOR. TELCOR has received hundreds of suggestions and requests for modifying and continually enhancing the billing system to best serve its users. The User Group meeting provided a unique opportunity for the users to discuss the requests by topic area and actively participate in determining the future development of the billing system. Back by popular request, users were also given several opportunities to participate in roundtable discussions where they learned helpful tips for how to better maximize their systems, exchange experiences and ideas and create valuable connections with other OIS users.
The User Group held a closed session meeting at which they elected new officers for 2011. Steve Leykind, CFO at Gramic Research Laboratory, LLC, was elected President, and Karen Brownell, Support Services Manager at Intermountain Healthcare, was elected Vice President of the TELCOR OIS User Group.
